We are a traditional church serving the Sherrard, Illinois area, including communities in Mercer, Henry and Rock Island Counties.
We exist to provide spiritual education and enrichment to the people of these areas.
Our goal is to live and love like our Lord, Jesus Christ.
Due to extreem icing conditions, travel is not recommended. Bible Study for tonight is cancelled. We will be studying Mark, chapter 12 next Wednesday, January 27, 2010.
Join the youth on Sunday, January 17, 2010, as they present an after-church Spaghetti Dinner for the whole church! This meal, provided on a donation basis, is a fund-raiser for the youth’s Summer Mission Trip to St. Louis. Everyone is welcome. Be sure to attend this great dinner!
Was it really only ten years ago that all of us were worried about the end of the world? OK, maybe you weren’t worried, but a lot of folks were concerned that either their computers would malfunction, the electric grid would stop working, there would be massive food shortages or something unimaginably worse would happen. Thankfully, none of that happened, except, perhaps for that last bit.
Tonight’s Bible Study (December 9, 2009) is cancelled due to extreme weather conditions.
