Storm nixes VBS

As of Thursday morning, we have power at Cable Church, however we’ve prayerfully reached the conclusion that this year’s Vacation Bible School isn’t meant to be. We’re going to save our lessons, crafts and decorations for another time, Lord willing.
We will be going on with our planned “closing program.” Now it is called a “Power ON!” party. This is at 6:00 Friday night. Everyone is invited. We will have a pot-luck dinner. Bring a dish to share. The VBS worship band will play a few songs, the puppets will entertain and we’ll all enjoy a good time. Hope to see you tomorrow night.
