The Valentine’s Dinner is set for February 18th. We will be going to the Garden Family Restaurant in Aledo.

Off To School Cookout

Everyone is invited to a cook out sponsored by the Youth Group on August 28th at 6:30 pm. We will be celebrating the end-of-summer, back to school, and we will be having a special “send off” for our youth leader, Katie. She is going away to college. This cook out will be held at the church. If the weather cooperates, we will be outside in the picnic shelter. Meat and drinks will be provided. Please bring a side dish and/or dessert to share. Hope to see everyone there.

There’s a roundup happening at the Cross Road Ranch!

Children from 3yrs through 6th grade will want to come to Cable Church from 9 – noon, Monday, July 19 – Friday, July 23rd, for this year’s exciting, new Vacation Bible School! We’re headed ‘out West’ to learn from the live of the Apostle Peter what it means to be a disciple of Jesus Christ. Fun, songs, snacks and games will mark this week as something not to miss. Parents will want to set aside time for the Friday evening closing program.

Busy Valentine / President’s Day Weekend Ahead

There are plenty events ahead this weekend for our church family, both young and older.

Here’s a listing of all that is going on:

Men’s Breakfast and Bible Study – Saturday at 8am @ the church
Valentine Banquet – Saturday at 5:30pm @ the church
Youth Group “Mall Scavenger Hunt” – Sunday after church
Youth Group Pizza Hut Fundraiser – Monday from 5 – 7pm @ Orion’s Pizza Hut

Hope you can get involved in many or most of these exciting events.
